Latest message from Pat Basch about the retreat:

Hello Quilting Friends,

First, I hope you've had a good summer!  Things are cooling off, and fall is quickly approaching.  I have many ideas regarding which UFO projects will be joining me at the retreat.  The pile (safe zone) is already growing!  I have collected many door prizes, but if you would like to help collect too, that would be great!

Next, I'd like to thank everyone who has volunteered to help with the retreat.  Please let me know if I forgot to include your name on this ever growing list and what you would like to help with.

  • Karen Asmundson - instructor
  • Karen Asmundson and Sally Mortenson - quilt retreat trivia game

  • Marlene Deutsch - a game with a door prize
  • Carol Egan - photographer

  • Sandi Irish - fabric store, coffee, chocolate, jumbo ironing board, instructor

  • Mo Johnson - a game
  • Beth Kobliska - web master

  • Vicki McIntyre - name tags
  • Molly Moran - quilt bingo
  • Sally Mortenson - mystery table runner
  • Susan Skoog - massage therapist coordinator
Next, Susan Skoog has the sign up for the massage therapist.  This is a popular muscle relaxation time, and everyone has traditionally added additional time, once they hear one persons glowing review of how good they feel.  The massage therapist plans to attend the retreat, so we may have massage time slots each day!  Please contact Susan to reserve your minutes of massage.

Lastly, it's time for our quilting instructors to prepare samples, provide supply lists, and answer questions that you have regarding the classes they are offering.  In order for them to prepare, we need you to decide if you would like to take a class at the retreat... and if so, which ones?  Below is a list of the classes being offered, and people who have indicated an interest in that class.
