"Evey year we have a group of people at Quilter's Haven who participate in our samples BOM program. This quilt consists of 12 basket blocks from traditional basket patterns. Jean designed the strippy setting to use the beautiful border print."

"The blocks in this quilt were pieced during a year long block of the month at Glad Creations. I set the blocks on point using setting triangles from left over fat quarters. My daughter tried out several feathering stitches to quilt."

"This quilt commemorates my husband Garnet's football career since college. After playing semi-pro and arena football for 15 successful seasons, Garnet retired in 2006. He was inducted into the Minor League Football Hall of Fame in December 2007.
