Home of the Brave and Quilts of Valor.
Home of the Brave Quilt Project is a grass
roots movement to honor America's war dead. In gratitude
for their service and sacrifice, we are making quilts to be
presented to the next of kin of Minnesota servicepersons who
died as a result of injuries received while on active duty in
Afghanistan and Iraq.
The Mission of Quilts of Valor is to provide quilts to all
wounded and injured service members from the war on terror.
Presently, our Quilts of Valor community has delivered over
15,000 quilts.

"QOV Medallion"
Pieced and quilted by Beth Kobliska
65" x 80"
"A simple design that looks more complex than it is simply by
changing the colors to form a medallion in the center, setting
blocks on point, and making the corners blend into the outer
border. This quilt will be donated to Quilts of Valor
after the quilt show."
"Carpenter's Star"
Pieced and quilted by Beth Kobliska.
70" x 80"
"Made for Quilts of Valor, using one very large block to make
the center of the quilt top. Since the pattern is
square, I added top and bottom pieced borders to make the quilt
rectangular, which is better for using on a bed. This
quilt will be donated to Quilts of Valor after the show."
