Where did all those designs come from... you may be surprised. Join DCSQ for Annemarie's trunk show of these embroidered pieces of art. You will leave with an appreciation of redwork and hints and tips on what to look for when collecting your own pieces. Annemarie's web site is quiltsremembered.com. A Note from Robin Hempel Ladies:
At the April meeting, part of the prize for the bag challenge
were wooden boxes made by my father-in-law. He received thank you
notes for the box, and I received requests to purchase some of the
boxes. Only because some of you asked am I making this offer.
While he has been with us this summer going through some medical issues,
he has completed a number of boxes and told me that I could sell them to
you. I am going to do this on a first-come basis. He is
basically asking for the cost of the materials plus a little for his
time. The large boxes are $16.00@ and the small ones will be $14@.
This will include the sales tax that I will pay on each of these.
